The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Has Over 100 Echoes

From its top-down trappings to Princess Zelda starring as the primary playable protagonist, there’s plenty about the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom that catches the eye, but the central mechanic that the experience is going to be built around will, of course, see players summoning copies – or “echoes” – of a vast amount of objects, enemies, and items, using them in creative ways to solve problems in unique ways.

Exactly how vast will the pool of options be on that front, however? Speaking in a recent Ask the Developer interview published by Nintendo in the lead-up to The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom’s release, the action-adventure title’s developers revealed that there are over 100 echoes in th…

Legia Warsaw 0 Borussia Dortmund 6: Gotze on target in rout

A stunning opening 20 minutes paved the way for Borussia Dortmund to thrash Legia Warsaw 6-0 in Wednesday s Champions League Group F encounter at the Stadion Wojska Polskiego.

Dortmund were somewhat surprisingly beaten 1-0 by RB Leipzig at the weekend, but the Bundesliga defeat clearly did not impact them in Poland on their return to European football s elite club competition as they impressed right from the off.

Mario Gotze, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Marc Bartra all found the net within 17 minutes and Legia were unable to bounce back as Dortmund cruised to an easy win, with Raphael Guerreiro, Gonzalo Castro and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scoring after the interval.

Gotze s opener represented his first goal for Dortmund since his return to his boyhood …

Path of Exile 2 Early Access Review – Still Sane, Exile?

The first time I played Path of Exile was in November 2013. After entering open beta, throwing open the gates for all and sundry, Grinding Gear Games finally revealed its free-to-play action RPG – a tribute to Diablo 2 and an attempt to create a worthy successor. This is usually the part where I tell you of the utter surprise and how much it shocked me, but that’s not what happened.

The grim setting of Wraeclast; the combat and its responsiveness; the Skill Gems and customization – it felt…right. Even the massive Passive Tree didn’t intimidate me, perhaps because I took all the damage nodes, ignored health, and opted for more of my main stat over something like “resistances.” Ah, the good old days of no…

Manchester City 2-1 West Ham: Gundogan and Fernandinho on target as Pep´s men go back second

Ilkay Gundogan and Fernandinho were on target as Manchester City moved back into second in the Premier League with a comfortable 2-1 home win over West Ham.

The defending champions made light of the difficult wintry conditions at the Etihad Stadium, where the visitors have now won just once in 16 top-flight visits.

Gundogan was on target in a first half where Riyad Mahrez had a strike ruled out, while the Hammers – who have now suffered back-to-back league defeats – were put to rest when Fernandinho netted late on with Manuel Lanzini s goal proving a mere consolation.

Pep Guardiola s 10th top-flight win in 11 attempts against West Ham means City move level on points with leaders Chelsea, albeit that may prove brief as the Blues host Manchester United later on…
