Hirving Lozano makes Premier League admission

Mexico international Hirving Lozano – otherwise known as Chucky – admitted he would like to play in the Premier League one day.

The 23-year-old PSV sensation was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in 2016 but it wasn’t after the 2018 World Cup his stock burst through the roof.

Lozano scored the winning goal for Mexico in a shock victory over defending champions Germany and Europe’s top clubs began to take a notice of his talents.

Manchester United and Tottenham both took an interest in the PSV star who claims he would love to move to England in the future.

“It’s nice that English papers talk nicely about me. It’s special. Personally I say thanks for the nice words. I hope that God, some day, gives me a shot at playing in the Pr…

Verratti, Coutinho, Bellerin? Who will Barcelona sign this summer?

It’s fair to say Barcelona have fallen short of their usual stratospheric standards this season. Real Madrid remain favourites to take their Liga crown, their Champions League campaign was ended by Juventus and while they may be – the club will want more.

Barca have not fared well in the transfer market in recent seasons either. Dani Alves was allowed to walk away for free, and has since hammered home what a giant mistake that was by shining for Juventus. Jeremy Mathieu has flopped fairly spectacularly, Lucas Digne has barely featured, while Arda Turan has not managed to secure a regular place either. This summer proves to be testing too, Barcelona don’t look to have the budget to spend big and may also need to trim the squad.

It’s also worth comparing…

Juventus want Ajax right-back Noussair Mazraoui

Juventus are interested in signing Noussair Mazraoui from Ajax, according to . It has been reported that the Italian and European giants are among a number of clubs who are keen securing the services of the 23-year-old right-back.

Mazraoui has been at Ajax since 2006 and has established himself as an important player in the first team. The Ajax no.12 has scored four goals and provided two assists in eight Eredivisie games so far this season. The Morocco international has also given one assist in two Champions League games.

Ajax are unlikely to sell Mazraoui in the middle of the season, especially as they are aiming to win the league title. However, the Dutch giants do sell their best players, and they could well cash in on Mazraoui next summer.

Spurs supporters helped bring out best in Sissoko – Pochettino

m fans has helped Moussa Sissoko to find his feet in his team.

Sissoko, 29, has been in good form and impressed in the 3-1 win over Chelsea on Saturday.

The midfielder s re-emergence has earned him a recall to the France squad and has helped Spurs overcome the loss of Mousa Dembele to injury.

Sissoko, a reported £30million signing from Newcastle United in 2016, has not always been a fan favourite but the opinion on him appears to have changed as he received a warm reception during Saturday s victory over Chelsea.

We need to fight with perceptions, of the media, of fans. It was easy to blame him, Pochettino said.

I m happy with him, he has improved a lot from since he signed here.

After he understands what we want from him and expec…

Injured Cheyrou doubtful for Lens

Deschamps side are among the best placed from the title favourites, and currently sit fourth only three points behind surprise leaders Brest.

Bordeaux, the 2009 champions, are in 10th place two points behind Marseille while Lyon are in 11th, also on 16 points.

We´re as good as Milan, says Delneri

Juventus coach Luigi Delneri on Friday insisted his players can compete with anyone , starting with their opponents Saturday at the San Siro, AC Milan.

Juve are on a bumpy road back to past glories following their demotion to Serie B in 2006 in the wake of the Calciopoli match-fixing scandal.

A seventh place finish in Serie A last season appeared as a blip after the Turin giants finished second in 2009 and third in 2008.

While Juventus have had an inconsistent start to this campaign, they sit fifth, seven points off top and five behind second-placed Milan, the team remain an unknown quantity, mixing top class performances such as the 4-0 thrashing of Lecce with ragged ones such as the 3-1 home defeat to Palermo.

Even so, Delneri insists they are every bi…

Caballero hints at Malaga exit

Willy Caballero has dropped a strong hint he will leave Malaga before the start of the new season.

The 32-year-old goalkeeper joined Malaga from Elche in 2011, and has made 117 league appearances in that time.

Caballero has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City in recent weeks, with some reports suggesting the keeper is set for a medical at the Premier League champions in the coming days.

Real Madrid say captain Sergio Ramos has never breached anti-doping control regulations , in relation to allegations made by Der Spiegel newspaper.

The German publication made a series of claims, as part of the Football Leaks investigation, which suggested Spain international Ramos had broken anti-doping protocol on two occasions.
